Mr. Mustafa DERELİ entered the hot-cold blacksmithing business in the 1930s and laid the foundations of today's manufacturing infrastructure. In 1934, when there was no electricity in İnebolu, he bought his first lathe with great brave. He became one of the most important representatives of craftsmanship in İnebolu by working as a gunsmith, safe craftsman and locksmith.

Ferruh DERELİ joined this structure in the 1960s and they started working together, which over the years turned into a workshop producing and repairing automotive spare parts.

In the following years, Ferruh DERELİ carried the flag even further that he received from his father and became a well-known brand in the region by producing automotive spare parts, improving machinery and equipment of sawmills, steel construction works of the world's longest cable car line between İnebolu and Küre and similar manufacturing.

In 1989, "Let's do mass and standard production"  dream came true and with an offer, the infrastructure began for creating to start for the production of "Electromagnetic Brake". Investment in machine tools, investment in people and development of product infrastructure continued rapidly. It has become a well-known brand in Turkey and around the world. And over the years, 3rd Generation Ahmet DERELİ and Mustafa DERELİ have also been involved in the production process, making DERELİ BRAKE a well-known brand in Turkey only in the Electromagnetic Brake and Clutch sector.

In 2012 Istanbul Branch was established  with the mission of faster service and delivery to industry and industrialists. In 2017, the foundation of Turkey's largest Electromagnetic Brake and Clutch production facility was laid in Kastamonu Organized Industrial Zone, with an open area of 13,500 m2 and a closed area of 5,000 m2, and it has been launched in 2021.

Throughout the 32-year period since its establishment until now, without compromising from its quality approach with its constantly evolving vision, customer portfolio and exports to 41 countries, it has been producing spring-applied, current-applied and natural magnet brakes and current-applied clutches by increasing its annual production upto 55,000 units approximately.
